Our April campout was held at Bluff Creek located off Highway 165 in Alabama. We had 3 units to attend. The camp park is beautiful and very well kept. The weather was absolutely wonderful. If we had put in an order for perfect camping weather we could not have asked for better. On Friday night everyone was on their own for dinner but later we all gathered at Les and Judy Beaudin’s for some good fellowship and to roast marshmallows on the campfire. On Saturday everyone was on their own with some fishing, reading, taking walks or some napping. Late Saturday we gathered for our Mexican feast and it was just that a feast. All the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. However, we all still had room to share some birthday cake with Les Beaudin. After a short club meeting everyone sat around the campfire and just enjoyed each others company. As always Sunday morning came too soon and we had to pack up to come home. We missed Mike and Leona Detwiler and hope they had a wonderful anniversary. We also missed John and Sue Halley and hope their daughter’s wedding in April was great. Our campout in May will be the State Rally at Sugar Mill. We are looking forward to seeing all our old friends and making new ones. In June we will be camping at Pine Mountain Campground, 8804 Hamilton Road, Hwy 27, Pine Mountain, GA 31822. The telephone number is 706-663-4329. For dinner on Friday everyone will be on their own but on Saturday night be sure to bring your favorite Italian dishes for our dinner. Remember our campouts are always held the 3rd weekend of each month. See you soon,

We just traded for a new Coachman travel trailer ( our 10th RV ) and heard about the Club but have no details about it. We live in Covington,Georgia .... are there any chapters near us ? Jerry, with your purchase of a new Coachmen RV you usually get a year's membership in the Coachmen Owners Association (http://coachmencaravanclub.com/. There's a club locator on that website. Hope this helps!
