Hello Everyone from the Chattahoochee Coachmen Club Chapter 363,
It’s really hard to believe we just had our 3rd club camp out. This month we went to Uchee Creek Campground located on Ft. Benning, GA and had a wonderful time. We had 4 units to attend, 3 members and 1 guest unit that decided they would like to be members of our club. Welcome Mike and Leona Detwiler to the Chattahoochee Coachmen Club Chapter 363! Mike and Leona came to us from the ad we ran in the Columbus Ledger.
Everyone was on their own for Friday night and several shared breakfast on Saturday morning. Saturday night we had a delicious pot luck supper and no one went away hungry. It was Sue Halley’s birthday and everyone enjoyed singing Happy Birthday and sharing in her birthday cake. Now how old are you Sue? After our meal we had a short business meeting. After we finished the business meeting Mike Detwiler entertained everyone with his guitar and some songs around the camp fire. Sunday morning everyone had breakfast in their units and got together to say goodbye until April. The camp out in April will be at Bluff Creek. Friday night you will be on your own but Saturday night bring covered dishes with a Mexican theme. Somebody remember to bring the “ANTI-ACIDS”. You will need to call to make your own reservations. Please call as soon as you can so that we can be grouped together. Here is the phone number and driving directions from Phenix City, AL. 1-877-444-6777 option #2. Take 431 South turn left on Al state route 165 for approximately 25 miles. Follow signs to campground. It will be on your left. See You Camping, Al & Kay Jenkins, 706-569-0633
