Mr. Pickard,
This letter is a bit late in coming, but nevertheless I wanted to take the time to give my thanks to your RV Dealership for the courtesy, timeliness, friendly and excellent customer service I received on my way to Florida on 1 Nov. 2007.
While passing through Byron, Ga. On 1-75,1 received an error code
on my 2007 Fleetwood Expeditions dashboard computer, which indicated I
had a transmission problem. After pulling over at a Fort Valley exit, I
called Good Sam Emergency Road Service who suggested I call a
Freightliner Dealer. After consulting my Freightliner Owners Manual, I
called your dealership. I spoke with Donna Lann, and after explaining
my problem, she referred me to Allison Transmission in Albany, Ga.
After speaking with a technician, he concluded the code from the
transmission shifter indicated it was due to low voltage, and that I
should go to a Freightliner Dealer to have the batteries checked out.
After getting to your dealership and talking to Greg Lindsey, I was
taken in right away, and within one to one and a half hours, I was
informed by your mechanic that I needed an alternator and wouldn't
haven't gotten another 100 miles down the road before all systems would
have shut down. Greg then informed me it wouldn't be ready until Monday
since they would have to order the alternator from Memphis, Tenn.
On 2 Nov. while staying with a friend in Marshallville, Ga., I
received a call from Greg informing me that my coach was ready. This
was really good news, as I was able to get back on the road in a little
more than 24 hours.
I would like to commend Greg, Donna, and the mechanic(s) and any
others who worked on my coach and got me underway sooner than expected.
I will surely recommend your dealership to anyone who may be looking
for a new Motor home or top notch service.
Your dealership does live up to The Mission & Purpose Statement on
